Soozie Courter Hemophilia Scholarship Program

Now in its 22nd year, the Soozie Courter Hemophilia Scholarship Program is designed to inspire students living with hemophilia to achieve their educational goals.

Patients and families in the hemophilia community face challenges that extend far beyond treatment. That’s why Pfizer is committed to advancing the lives of those in the community with unique support programs and resources. Our scholarship program is one of them.

Pfizer provides scholarships to students with hemophilia A or hemophilia B who are high school seniors, have a graduate equivalency diploma (GED), or are currently enrolled in an accredited junior college, college (undergraduate or graduate), or vocational school.


Annual Amount

Five $4,000 graduate scholarships

Ten $2,500 college scholarships, including vocational schools

Additional Selection Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have been diagnosed with hemophilia A or hemophilia B;
  • Reside in the continental U.S.;
  • Meet one of the following:  1) Be a high school senior or graduate student in a school in the U.S.; 2) Have a completed high school or an equivalent (e.g., general equivalency diploma [GED]); or 3) Be currently accepted to or enrolled in a junior college, college (undergraduate or graduate), or vocational school;
  • Submit a completed application and appropriate materials before the application deadline.
