The Luis E. Torres scholarship would like to emphasize that they are looking for very special people: Those who are battling or have overcome medical obstacles in pursuit of higher education.  Education held a special place in Luis' heart and it is our hope the The Luis E. Torres Scholarship Fund can help you gain a foothold as you pursue you education. They hope Luis' story will inspire you on your journey.

 

Annual Amount

Award amounts generally range from $500 to $1,000

High School Seniors, Undergraduate College Students, and Graduate College Students

The Luis E. Torres scholarship is happy you are pursuing your eduction and letting them be part of those dreams. Application Process

STEP 1: Please fill out the online application. All applications MUST include the most recent, sealed official copy of the students' transcript as well as a letter from your treating physician.


STEP 2: Applicants selected for award review by the selection committee will be submitted to the Board of Directors for a final decision on granting of the award. An in-person or web conference video interview may be requested before a final determination is made.
