Life Reimagined Scholarships

Calvin Rosser, a writer and venture capitalist who is on a mission to empower 10 million people to live a more conscious and fulfilling life.  He created and funded the Life Reimagined Scholarship series to elevate motivated and high-achieving students who will make the world a better place.

The scholarships are focused on four important causes--increasing mental health awareness, supporting black entrepreneurs and policy students, helping first-generation students, and empowering women in technology.

Annual Amount

Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship:  $500

Elevate Black Entrepreneurs Scholarship:  $2,000

Elevate Black Students in Public Policy Scholarship:  $1,000

Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship:  $500

Life Reimaged First-Gen Scholarship:  $1,000

Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship:

You can apply for this scholarship on the Bold.org scholarship platform.  To apply, you will need to set up a student profile on Bold.org and write a 500-1,000 word essay about the following:


How has your experience with mental health influenced your beliefs, relationships, and career aspirations?

The scholarship is open to student at any educational level and field of study.  The only application requirement is that students have personally experienced challenges with mental health or have had people close to them who have experienced mental health challenges.

Elevate Black Entrepreneur Scholarship:

You can apply for this scholarship on the Bold.org scholarship platform.  To apply, you will need to set up a student profile on Bold.org and write a 500-1,000 word essay about the following:

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your business (or business idea).  What inspired you to start it?  What do you hope it will achieve?

The scholarship is open to current or aspiring Black entrepreneurs across any field or business stage will be considered.  Winners will be selected on the merit of their business idea, and on the impact that additional support would have for them.

Elevate Black Students in Public Policy Scholarship:

Please tell us a bit about yourself and what you hope to achieve through a career in public policy.

The scholarship is open to current Black undergraduate or graduate a school students who are striving for a career in public policy.

Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship:

You can apply for this scholarship on the Bold.org scholarship platform.  To apply, you will need to set up a student profile on Bold.org and write a 500-1,000 word essay about the following:

How do you envision using your interests, skills, and career in technology to make the world a better place?

The scholarship is open to students at any educational level and field of study.  The only application requirement is that students are women who intend to enter a technical or non-technical career that leverages technology to make the world a better place.

While not required, being involved in entrepreneurial endeavors and STEM fields of study will be a plus on student application.

Life Reimagined First-Gen Scholarship:

You can apply for this scholarship on the Bold.org scholarship platform.  To apply, you will need to set up a student profile on Bold.org and write a series of essays about the following:

  • What book has had the most profound impact on your life?  Discuss Why?
  • What's one important lesson you learned from your childhood that sticks with you to this day?  Explain why the lesson is important in your life.
  • What is a big life challenge that you have overcome?  Describe the challenge and what you did to conquer it.
  • Imagine that you win the Life Reimagined First-Gen Scholarship.  As the winner, how would you get the most out of the year of mentorship?

The scholarship is open to students at any educational level and field of study.  The only requirement is that applicants are first-generation college students.  The essays are the most important part of the application.  Please ensure that you take that time to provide thoughtful and meaningful answers for each of the questions.
