Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarship

Krylon Products Group Clear Choice Art Scholarships are available to high school seniors (graduating before June 30, 2020) and college freshmen and sophomore students in the U.S. and Canada. Students must be enrolled or accepted and seeking a degree at a U.S. or Canadian university, college or art school as a declared major in a visual arts program such as painting, drawing, sketching (excluding graphic design, fashion design, interior design, film, music or the performing arts). Canadian students must be attending a designated educational institution while enrolled or accepted into a qualifying educational program. Employees of The Sherwin-Williams Company and related companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Scholarship checks are sent directly to the university, college or art school, where the student will study, to be used for qualifying tuition expenses (tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment) required by the educational institution. Distribution will not be made directly to scholarship recipients.The scholarship submission consists of a completed application form (attached), portfolio flash drive, artist’s statement, letter of recommendation and transcript(s).

Annual Amount

  • Five $1,000 Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarships.

    Complete with a gift package of Krylon Artist Sprays and Adhesives. In addition, the art program at each winner’s school will receive a $500 grant and a large gift package of Krylon Artist Sprays and Adhesives.

  • Krylon Art Supply Gift Pack

    Ten students and their schools will each receive gift packages of Krylon Artist Sprays and Adhesives.

Application Process

The scholarship submission consists of a completed application form, portfolio flash drive, artist's statement, letter of recommendation and transcript(s).

Applications should be submitted with portfolio on a flash drive, artist’s statement, letter of recommendation and transcript(s) by May 31, 2020 to Krylon Clear Choice Scholarship, 101 W. Be sure to send all materials together in one package with your name on each piece (transcripts may be sent separately by school).Call 1-800-247-3268 with any questions. Applications, artwork, etc. will not be accepted by email.Scholarship recipients only will be notified in writing by July 31, 2020.
