FJ Pollak/ Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship Fund

The FJ Pollak / Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship Fund awards monetary scholarships to university, college or vocational school admitted students who identify as Latino. Decisions are based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, demonstrated interest in social service volunteerism and a desire to continue postsecondary education.

Annual Amount

Between $2,000-$3,000 per semester--not to exceed $6,000 per year

Additional Selection Criteria

Applicants to the FJ Pollak / Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship Fund must meet the following criteria:

• Identify as Latino and be between the ages of 17-26 years old as of the application deadline date;

• Be a United States citizen, legal resident of the United States, or undocumented resident of the United States, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient;

• Be a high school senior, high school graduate or current college undergraduate student

• Provide proof of admission or enrollment to an accredited 4-year college or university residing within the United States;

• Official Transcripts

• 3 letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or mentor

• Proof of community service or volunteer work hours
