Diabetes Scholars Foundation Scholarships

Diabetes scholars offer a set of general and specific scholarships to high school seniors headed to college/university in 2021 living with Type 1 diabetes. There is one application to be considered for any and all of the scholarships – all students who fill out the application will be considered for those scholarships that match them. In addition, Diabetes Scholars also offers one scholarship to a sophomore or junior standing veterinary student.

Additional Selection Criteria

Diabetes Scholars 2023 Requirements:

• The applicant has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
• The applicant is currently enrolled in high school as a graduating Senior or home-schooled as a Senior rising to Freshman in college.
• US citizens & permanent residents (US or PR students)
• Planning to attend a 4-year university, a community college, or a technical school in the Fall of 2023/Spring of 2024

• 1 Question with a short essay reply or 2-minute video reply
• 1 Question with a 3-5 sentence reply
